Angela Semo
Executive Vice President of Human Rescources
Angela Semo is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of senior-level human resources experience. Ms Semo is a graduate of Utica college of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources management. She is also a graduate of SUNY Institute of Technology with Masters in Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources management.
Ms Semo established the Human Resources department at Herkimer County Community College where she worked for over 21 years, reporting directly to the President of the College and serving on the Executive Council. Ms. Semo’s responsibilities included supervision of the administration of employee benefit plans, coordination of hiring, compensation analysis and administration, labor relations, employee training, budget management, administrator of HRIS system and affirmative action officer.
Ms Semo received a certificate from Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations- Leadership Development program. She also received the State University of New York Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Services.
